Kate is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (t-LMHC) providing individual and family therapy to adults and adolescents 12+. Kate’s approach is client-centered, grounded in the belief that each person is the expert of their own life. She utilizes evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Kate’s goal is to empower clients to build resilience, foster self-awareness, and develop coping strategies that can facilitate healing and growth. Kate is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. Kate has weekend and evening telehealth availability. She is supervised by Rachael Jorgensen, LISW and Emily Conrad Steffen, LISW, and practices at 309 S Cherry St. in Shell Rock.
